Wells has been named to the Big South first and second team all-conference over the past two years as he cemented himself as one of the top defenders in the conference. As the Flames make the move to the FBS ranks, Wells looks to become a NFL level talent during his final season on campus. He’s led the team in tackles each of the past 2 seasons, and with a beefed up defensive line he should continue to create problems for opposing teams. With a career year, Wells could jeopardize the school’s career sack record of 25 set by Chima Uzowihe. He currently has 15.
