Liberty has added a commitment from Elias Grant, a 2027 prospect.

Grant is a 5’11”, 165 pound corner from Richmond Hill High School and Richmond Hill, Georgia. He also had offers from Georgia State, Georgia Southern, and others. Liberty offered him in April.

This past season as a junior, Grant had 45 receptions for 596 yards and 4 touchdowns while playing wide receiver. He also had 5 interceptions and 30 tackles on the defensive side of the ball and was named his school’s fall athlete of the year.

Liberty now has 17 total commitments currently in the Class of 2027. Grant is one of five defensive backs currently committed to Liberty in the class, joining Braylon Miller, Damari Jerry, Ayden Abdullah-Tolson, and James Smith, III.
