Liberty has picked up its second commitment of the day on the heels of the first official visit weekend of the summer as defensive back James Smith, III has committed to the Flames.
Smith is a 6’1″, 180 pound safety from Dutch Fork High School in South Carolina. He commits to Liberty after picking up an offer from the Flames in April. He also had several offers from FCS programs.
Smith is the second commitment of the day for the Flames, joining LB Levi Champion and he is the third commitment in the Class of 2027.
