Liberty has picked up a commitment from defensive back Damari Jerry.

Jerry is a 6’0″, 170 pound defensive back/outside linebacker from Boca Raton, Florida and West Boca Raton High School. He is a three-star rated prospect according to 247, ranked as the No. 844 national prospect, No. 84 safety, and No. 81 prospect from Florida. He is also rated as a three-star prospect according to Rivals and ESPN.

Jerry has offers from Auburn, Florida State, Indiana, UConn, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Mississippi State, Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse, Texas A&M, UCF, West Virginia, East Carolina, South Florida, FIU, FAU, Tulane, and several more.

Jerry commits to the Flames while on an official visit in Lynchburg this weekend. He is part of a large group of 2027 recruits taking an official visit this weekend, the second big official visit weekend for Liberty so far this summer.

Jerry is the 7th commitment for Liberty in the Class of 2027 and the fourth defensive back to pledge to the Flames.
