Your 27-6 Liberty Lady Flames face the 24-8 (10-6 Big Ten) Purdue Boilermakers Sunday afternoon in the 1st round of the women’s NCAA Tournament. Tip-off is scheduled for 12:10 PM in Louisville,  Kentucky.

7 of Purdue’s losses came against other NCAA Tournament teams. The Boilermakers lost to Connecticut, Notre Dame, Iowa, Penn State, Michigan, Indiana, and Michigan State. Purdue is currently on a 4 game winning streak after winning the Big Ten tournament on March 10th. Meanwhile, Liberty is riding a 14 game win streak.

Liberty looks to improve on its 2-14 all-time NCAA Tournament record. The Flames only two wins came as a 13 seed in 2005. 2005 is also the only prior time the Lady Flames have been matched with a Big 10 opponent in the NCAA Tournament when Liberty defeated Penn State 78-70 in the 1st round.

Purdue vs Liberty airs on ESPN2. The winner will take on either Louisville or Middle Tennessee on Tuesday.
