Liberty will compete in the 2024 U.S. Virginia Islands Paradise Jam, according to the event’s website.

The eight team tournament will be held November 21-26, 2024 in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The rest of the announced field so far includes UAB, George Washington, Illinois State, Kansas State, McNeese State, and two other teams to be announced soon.

UAB and McNeese State each advanced to the NCAA Tournament this past season as conference winners.

In its first season in the American Athletic Conference, UAB won the conference tournament. The Blazers then advanced to the Big Dance as a 12-seed before falling to San Diego State in the first round, finishing the year at 23-12 overall.

Meanwhile, under first year head coach Will Wade, McNeese State won the Southland Conference Tournament and advanced to the NCAA Tournament as a 12-seed before falling to 5-seed Gonzaga. The Cowboys finished the season at 30-4 overall and 17-1 in conference play.

The Flames will play in three games as part of the Paradise Jam event. Tournament pairings and the full schedule will be released at a later date.
