Liberty has concluded the regular season after winning the CUSA regular season title outright by four games in front of second place Sam Houston following the team’s regular season finale win over the Bearkats. The Flames are now 25-6 overall on the season and 17-3 in CUSA action while preparing for the CUSA Tournament in Huntsville, Alabama this week where the Flames open up in Quarterfinal action on Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. ET. Liberty is currently at No. 100 in the updated NET rankings, down from last week’s ranking of No. 94.

Duke is currently ranked No. 1 in the NET, followed by Michigan, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Gonzaga, Houston, Iowa State, UConn, and Purdue to round out the top 10. You can see the entire rankings here.

The Flames continue to be the highest ranked team in CUSA in the NET, but just barely. Liberty is ahead of No. 104 Sam Houston, No. 154 Middle Tennessee, No. 156 Western Kentucky, No. 171 Kennesaw State, No. 187 New Mexico State, No. 194 FIU, No. 210 Jacksonville State, No. 212 Louisiana Tech, No. 213 Missouri State, No. 268 UTEP, and No. 286 Delaware.
