Liberty got off to a nice start in conference play with a win at FIU on Sunday afternoon in Miami to improve to 9-3 on the season and 1-0 in CUSA play. The Flames are currently at No. 107 in the updated NET rankings, up from last week’s ranking of No. 111.
Michigan is currently ranked No. 1 in the NET, followed by Gonzaga, Duke, Arizona, Iowa State, Purdue, Vanderbilt, UConn, BYU, and Illinois to round out the top 10. You can see the entire rankings here.
The Flames are now the second highest ranked team in CUSA in the NET, trailing only No. 90 Sam Houston. The Flames are ahead of No. 110 New Mexico State, No. 126 Middle Tennessee, No. 152 Western Kentucky, No. 166 Kennesaw State, No. 184 FIU, No. 224 Louisiana Tech, No. 235 Missouri State, No. 258 Jacksonville State, No. 268 UTEP, and No. 300 Jacksonville State.
