After claiming its first ever Conference USA title and third conference championship in four years in a thrilling match play championship, Liberty is back in the NCAA Regionals. No. 12 seed Liberty is in Stanford, California where the Flames begin NCAA Regional play on Monday.

The three-day, 54-hole event is being played at the Stanford Golf Course (par 70, 6,742 yards). Liberty is seeking to advance to the national championship for the fifth time in program history and will do so with a top five finish at this year’s NCAA Stanford Regional.

The Stanford Regional is one of six NCAA Regionals. The top five teams from each of the regionals will advance to the 2024 NCAA Men’s Golf Championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.

The Flames have made four previous appearances at the national championship event – 2012, 2019, 2021, 2022. The 10th place finish for Liberty in 2012 is the best finish the program has ever had and the second-best finish by any Liberty team at an NCAA Division I national championship event.

Liberty is making the program’s 14th appearance at an NCAA Golf Regional and the 12th in the last 13 regional events, having only missed the 2015 NCAA Regionals.

Here’s a look at the 14 teams competing this week in the Stanford Regional (national rankings):
