Liberty has added a commitment from Sean Register, Jr., a JUCO prospect from Eastern Florida State College.
Register is a 6’7″ forward originally from Cleveland, Ohio who is a freshman at Eastern Florida State College. In 31 games played this season, Register averaged 24.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game while shooting 66.3% from the field, 40.6% from three (28/69), and 73.8% from the free throw line. He set his program’s record for points in a season and was third in the country at the JUCO level. He was named the Citrus Conference Player of the Year and named to the Division I All-FCSAA Men’s Basketball Team.
Register has offers from Wyoming, Drake, Green Bay, New Mexico State, Louisiana, Florida A&M, Oakland, Bradley, St. Bonaventure, Incarnate Word, and Cleveland State. Liberty has been pursuing Register for some time now and he has visited the campus in Lynchburg. He helped lead Eastern Florida State to a 23-7 record. Register scored 26 points and 8 rebounds in the quarterfinals of the FCSAA Championships.
Register is the second transfer commitment to Liberty for this upcoming season, joining forward Dillon Claussen. The Flames currently have four spots open for the 2026-27 men’s basketball roster.
