Liberty has picked up their third commitment of the 2026 class this one coming from Xavier Reed.
Reed is a 6’0″, 260 pound defensive lineman from West Boca Raton High School in Boca Raton, Florida. Reed has offers from James Madison, Western Kentucky, Tulane, South Florida, Marshall, Akron, Eastern Michigan, Bowling Green, and others. Liberty offered him April 2024. He is a three-star rated prospect according to Rivals.
Reed was named the Palm Beach County Defensive Player of the Year following his junior season this past year and was part of the 6A State Championship team.
Reed is the first defensive lineman to commit to Liberty in this class and the third overall joining high school teammates QB John Johnson and CB Moe Williams.
