RJ Fleming, who played for Hugh Freeze at Arkansas State, is joining Freeze’s staff in an offensive quality control role, as first reported by Bruce Feldman. Fleming most recently served as an offensive graduate assistant at TCU. Fleming started four years at Arkansas State, catching 12 passes for 149 yards his senior year of 2013. Here’s a terrific story on what Fleming has had to overcome to get to where he is today.

Fleming joins an offensive staff that now includes wide receivers coach Maurice Harris, offensive line coach Sam Gregg, tight ends coach Ben Aigamaua, and one holdover from Gill’s staff in Mike Brown as running backs coach.

Other reported hires include special teams coordinator Tanner Burns, defensive coordinator Scott Symons, and defensive line coach Josh Aldridge.
