The NFL has invited 321 prospects to the NFL Scouting Combine, it announced on Tuesday, and Liberty offensive lineman X’Zauvea Gadlin is one of them. The combine will take place in Indianapolis from February through March 4.

Gadlin becomes the most recent Liberty player to compete in the Scouting Combine, joining most recent invitees Demario Douglas (2023), Malik Willis (2022), Antonio Gandy-Golden, who attended the event in 2020, and Josh Woodrum and John Lunsford who attended the event in 2016.

After a strong week of practice at the East West Shrine Bowl, Gadlin turned a lot of heads and grabbed a lot of coaches and scouts attentions throughout the week with his performance in practice. After transferring to Liberty from Tulsa, Gadlin became a mainstay in Liberty’s offensive line, playing multiple positions while starting the entire 2023 season at right guard while helping the Flames to its best season in school history at 13-1 overall, a CUSA Championship, and appearance in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl.

The NFL Draft begins April 25 where Gadlin will be looking to add his name to Liberty’s growing list of drafted prospects.
