Once the calendar turns to December, the transfer portal opens, and early signing period begins, it becomes time to look ahead to the 2024 roster construction and where things stand.
Liberty’s current scholarship count for next season is 83 (see list below). That means the Flames have 2 scholarships available for next season that can be filled by high school commits and/or portal commits. Head coach Jamey Chadwell could also opt to hold onto a few of them.
That is where things currently stand. Of course, things are always fluid. More players could elect to enter the portal at any time. After spring ball is a time when there could be another influx of players into the portal across the country, including at Liberty potentially, and it is expected the Flames will add more from the portal.
