QB MALIK WILLIS
Previous game: New York Jets 30, Green Bay 10
Like most of the Green Bay offense, Malik Willis struggled in his preseason debut for this season. He completed 4 of 9 passes for 39 yards and was sacked three times. He rushed one time for five yards, and lost a fumble that was recovered for a touchdown by the Jets.
Willis was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2021 draft by the Tennessee Titans. After serving as a backup, he was traded to the Green Bay Packers just ahead of the start of the 2024 season where he was very productive. Now, entering 2025, Willis is solidified in his spot behind Jordan Love. Last year in 7 appearances, two of them as a starter, Willis posted a 124.8 QB rating and went 2-0. Willis is entering the final year of his rookie contract. For his career, Malik has completed 75 of 120 passes (62.5%) for 900 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. He’s also rushed 52 times for 282 yards and 2 scores.
