NET Rankings: #89

Liberty is ranked 89th in this week’s edition of the NET Rankings. Even though the Flames did not play last week, they still dropped 14 spots in the rankings. The Flames are 0-2 against Quad 1 opponents, 1-0 versus Quad w opponents, 2-2 against Quad 3 opponents, and have a 6-1 record against Quad 4 opponents. The Flames are still the highest-ranked ASUN team in the NET by a wide margin, as Bellarmine is the next closest at #202. 

College Insider Mid-Major Top 25: #9

The Flames remain at #9 in this week’s Mid-Major poll. The Flames have been ranked in the top 15 of the poll every week except one this season. 

KenPom: #105

Liberty dropped three spots to #105 in this week’s edition of the KenPom ratings, once again, the highest-rated team from the ASUN. Bellarmine is the second-highest ASUN team at #212. 

Bracket Matrix:

Liberty has made an appearance in 65 bracket projections, which is an increase of 14 from last week.  The Flames boast an average seed of 13.98. The highest seed the Flames received is 11 and the lowest is 16. Lipscomb and Jacksonville were the other ASUN members that made appearances in bracket projections. Jacksonville had the second-highest number of appearances with 5 and an average seed of 16.00. 

College Basketball Power Index: #87

Liberty is ranked 87th on the College Basketball Power Index, a two-spot improvement from the previous week. The Flames have the 233rd best SOS (strength of schedule) and the 132nd best SOR (strength of record).
