This week, we got in touch with Black Knight Nation: a site that covers Army athletics. Be sure to give them a follow on Twitter @BKKnightNation.
ASOR: What are the team’s strengths?
Black Knight Nation: Junior linebacker Andre Carter has enjoyed a breakout season for Army’s defense, which has played consistently well throughout the season with the exception of the Wake Forest game and second half against Western Kentucky. Carter is tied for the nation’s lead with a school-record 13.5 sacks. The Black Knights are deep at quarterback, fullback and slotbacks. Twelve different players have scored rushing touchdowns led by junior fullback Jakobi Buchanan’s eight. Sophomore Isaiah Alston has emerged a game-breaking target, averaging 21.5 yards on 17 catches.

ASOR: What are the team’s weaknesses?

BKN: Army’s pass defense has struggled against top quarterbacks. Wake Forest’s Sam Hartman and Western Kentucky’s Bailey Zappe combined for 893 passing yards and eight touchdowns.

ASOR: What does Army need to do to secure a win?
BKN: Army needs to have effective time-consuming drives, finishing in touchdowns and keeping Liberty’s offense on the sideline.
ASOR: How will Army lose the game?
BKN: Army can’t beat itself with turnovers and penalties. The Black Knights’ offense has not turned the ball over in its last three games. Army must keep that trend going if it wants to leave Saturday with a win.
ASOR: What matchup are you most excited to watch?
BKN: Andre Carter’s pass rush vs. Liberty quarterback Malik Willis. Can Carter disrupt Willis enough to throw off the timing of Liberty’s passing game?
ASOR: What’s your prediction for the game?
BKN: If Army wants to have its third 10-win season in the last five years, it needs this game. The Black Knights will get a couple big plays from slotback Tyrell Robinson and the defense will slow Liberty down enough to pull out the win. Army 28, Liberty 24
