practiceFootball Practice Opens
The Flames football team official kicked off preparation for the 2014 season this week. All players reported on Wednesday and had a team meeting Wednesday night, with the first practice Thursday morning at 9:15. They continue camp Friday through Monday before their first day off on Tuesday, August 5th. There will be 2 off-campus scrimmages – August 4th at E.C. Glass High School at 3:30 and August 9th at G.W. Danville High School at 3:30. Football Fan Fest is scheduled for August 16th at 7pm.

Liberty vs Delaware Nov 17
The Flames will host Delaware inside the Vines Center on November 17th in a return game from last season. Liberty fell to the Blue Hens 77-64 on New Years Day 2014. Slowly, but surely, the 2014-15 basketball schedule is being pieced together. After Delaware, the Flames hit the road to play at Virginia Tech on November 19th and Miami (OH) on the 22nd. Liberty will then face North Florida on the 25th in Cancun as part of the Cancun Challenge. The Flames will then play either Elon or Morgan State on November 26th.
