Here’s how former Liberty players fared this past week in the NFL.
QB MALIK WILLIS
This week: Baltimore 41, Green Bay 24
Getting the start for the injured Jordan Love, Malik Willis dazzled in primetime on Saturday night. He completed 18 of 21 passes for 288 yards and a touchdown while also rushing 9 times for 60 yards and 2 scores. Willis, who is set to be a free agent following the season, should have done enough to cement his next contract and potentially be in position to earn a starting spot next year.
Malik Willis looks like a starting QB and it’s not just the arm. It’s the poise and ability to manipulate the pocket. pic.twitter.com/KysfojOSEH
