With the transfer portal dominating headlines throughout college sports the past couple of years, every team loses and adds some players through it each season.

We are seven games into the new season under head coach Jamey Chadwell and past the halfway point. With the Flames currently in a bye week, this provides us an opportunity to check in on all the transfers Liberty lost through the portal following the 2024 season:

OL Jordan White

White is the starting center for Top 10 Vanderbilt. He has played 416 snaps so far this season.

QB Kaidon Salter

It’s been a bit of an up and down season for Salter at Colorado. He won the starting job out of training camp, then got benched, and then re-emerged as the team’s starter. He has currently completed 93 of 142 passes (65.5%) for 1,156 yards, 9 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. He’s also rushed 65 times for 270 yards and 5 touchdowns as Colorado is 3-4 on the season.

DE TJ Bush

Bush has become a key member of the Cal defense where he has 23 tackles and 3 sacks this season.

DT Jay Hardy

Hardy has played in six games for Auburn this season, where he has recorded five tackles.

OL Xavior Gray

Gray has played 19 snaps on the offensive line in two games for Northwestern.

OL Jordan Hall

Hall has played 241 snaps this season in seven games for Tulane where he has emerged as a key member of their offensive line.

CB Jayden Sweeney

Sweeney transferred to Florida Atlantic where he has played in seven games and recorded 22 tackles with 1.5 TFLs and a pass breakup.

DT Chris Boti

Boti is at Arkansas State where he has 19 tackles, 0.5 TFLs, and one pass breakup.

DL Eliyt Nairne

In seven games played for Tulane, Nairne has four tackles.

DL Rod Daniels

Daniels has played in six games at Kennesaw State with 15 tackles, 2 TFLs, 1.5 sacks, 2 QB hurries, and a PBU.

RB James Jointer

Jointer has not recorded any stats in five games played for Eastern Michigan. He has 21 total snaps played on offense.

CB Dominick Hill

Hill has 2 tackles in seven games played at Southern Miss.

DE Larry Jones III

Jones transferred in-conference to play for New Mexico State. He has played 10 total snaps this season, spread over three games and has not recorded any stats.

QB Nate Hampton

Hampton is the starting quarterback at FCS Gardner-Webb where he has completed 83 of 142 passes (58.5%) for 1,245 yards, 10 touchdowns, and an interception. He’s also rushed 70 times for 279 yards and 4 touchdowns. The Runnin’ Bulldogs are 4-3 on the season.

WR Kylen Austin

Austin is at FCS Albany where he has played in five games with 14 receptions for 173 yards.

LB Barrett Newman

Newman transferred to FCS Northwestern State where he has played in seven games and recorded 20 tackles, 0.5 TFLs, and a forced fumble.

DB Marquis Bell

Bell is at FCS UC Davis where he has played in five games with 16 tackles, 0.5 TFLs, and 6 pass breakups.

CB Joshua Wiggins

Wiggins transferred to FCS East Texas A&M where he has played in seven games. He has 9 tackles with 2 PBUs.

S Jabin Ford

At FCS South Carolina State, Ford has 9 tackles in seven games played.

OL Rex Lahr

Lahr is a reserve offensive lineman for FCS Youngstown State. He has played in all seven games with a total of 58 snaps, mostly on special teams with 28 snaps on offensive.

WR Cesar Carrasco
