Kickoff times and TV information has been released for most of Liberty’s football games in 2025 as the Flames attempt to get back on top of Conference USA.

At least five of the team’s 12 games will be on linear TV, all appearing on CBS Sports Network. At least two games will be on ESPN+ while four others will be on ESPN platforms to be announced which network specifically 12 days prior to each game’s kickoff. These games could be on ESPN+ or one of the linear ESPN Networks. One game (at Old Dominion, Sept. 27) we are still waiting TV information.

Also, Conference USA has announced their annual championship game will be played this year on Friday, Dec. 5 and it will be televised on CBS Sports Network. Like previous seasons, the game will feature the top two teams in the conference regular season standings and it will be played at the home field of the team that finishes the regular season in first place.

The season will begin for the Flames on Saturday, Aug. 30 against Maine at Williams Stadium in Lynchburg, Virginia. Kickoff has been set for 4 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.

The following week, the Flames will take on defending CUSA Champ Jacksonville State. The Flames and Gamecocks will meet in Alabama on Saturday, Sep. 6 in a game that will be televised on CBS Sports Network at Noon ET. On Sept. 13, Liberty will remain on the road, playing a non-conference game at Bowling Green. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET on ESPN+.

On Sept. 20, the Flames will return home to play host to in-state foe James Madison. Kickoff has been scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be on an ESPN Platform to be announced later.

TV and kickoff information for Liberty’s game at Old Dominion on Sep. 27 has not been released yet.

Both of Liberty’s midweek games in October this season will be televised on CBS Sports Network beginning Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. when the Flames will head to El Paso, Texas to take on UTEP in their final season in Conference USA. Six days later, Liberty will host New Mexico State at Williams Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14. to conclude the month of October for the Flames.

As the calendar shifts to November, Liberty will play the two FBS and CUSA newcomers in consecutive weeks. On Nov. 1, Liberty will host Delaware with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 on CBS Sports Network. The following Saturday, Nov. 8, the Flames welcome Missouri State to Lynchburg for a 1 p.m. kickoff on an ESPN Platform. Liberty then hits the road for two straight games on ESPN Platforms, beginning Nov. 15 at FIU with kickoff in Miami scheduled for 5 p.m. On Nov. 22, the Flames play at Louisiana Tech with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m. ET.

Liberty’s regular season finale will be at Williams Stadium on Nov. 29 against Kennesaw State. The Flames and Owls are scheduled to meet at 3:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
