Liberty will compete in the 2020 Legends Classic, as announced on Wednesday.

As part of the Classic, Liberty will travel to Vanderbilt on November 17th and Notre Dame on November 20th.

This will be the third straight season the Flames have faced Vanderbilt, with all three matchups taking place in Nashville. Liberty defeated the Commodores, 61-56, this past season and fell, 79-70, November 19, 2018.

The meeting in South Bend will be the fourth ever between the Flames and Irish. Notre Dame holds a 3-0 edge, having last played the Flames during Ritchie McKay’s first season back in Lynchburg, with Liberty falling 74-56 on December 29, 2015.

The Flames will also compete in a two-game tournament at High Point against the Panthers, Eastern Washington, and Monmouth. Specific matchups will be announced at a later date.

Liberty last competed in the Legends Classic when the Flames faced Georgetown, UC Irvine, Sam Houston State, and Southern Miss, dropping all four contests.

These games will be added to a non-conference schedule that currently includes a November 13th matchup against East Carolina in Charlotte and a trip to Radford on December 5th.
