Liberty improved to 8-0 on Saturday with a 58-14 win over Western Carolina as the Flames continue the best ever start in program history. Liberty remained No. 22 in this week’s Coaches Top 25 Poll, and the Flames moved up from No. 22 to No. 21 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.

The Flames are scheduled to face N.C. State in Raleigh, North Carolina this coming Saturday with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. on ACC Regional Networks.

Coastal Carolina (7-0) continues to be ranked in both polls despite not playing on Saturday as their game against Troy was postponed due to COVID concerns with Troy. The Chanticleers are No. 18 in the Coaches Poll and No. 15 in the AP Poll. The unbeaten Flames and Chanticleers are scheduled to square off on Dec. 5 in Conway, South Carolina.
