Liberty has picked up a commitment from Class of 2027 quarterback prospect Cole Hough, he has announced.

The 6’1″, 190 pound athlete is from Charlotte, North Carolina and Palisades High School. As a high school junior a year ago, he was named all-conference after passing for 2,189 yards with 20 total touchdowns. He is the school record holder for total yards and passing touchdowns in a season.

Hough took an official visit at Liberty this past weekend for the Flames’ game against Gardner-Webb where he picked up an offer from the Flames and then committed shortly thereafter. Liberty was Hough’s first FBS offer. He also has offers from Elon, North Carolina Central, Charleston Southern, and Morehouse College.

Hough is currently the 15th commit for the Flames in the Class of 2027 and the first quarterback commit in the class.
