Liberty has jumped out to a 3-0 start in conference play following a perfect weekend home stand this past weekend against Kennesaw State and Jax State to improve to 11-3 on the season and 3-0 in CUSA play. The Flames are currently at No. 111 in the updated NET rankings, down slightly from last week’s ranking of No. 107.
Michigan is currently ranked No. 1 in the NET, followed by Arizona, Iowa State, Gonzaga, Vanderbilt, Purdue, Duke, UConn, BYU, and Illinois to round out the top 10. You can see the entire rankings here.
The Flames are now the third highest ranked team in CUSA in the NET, trailing No. 101 Middle Tennessee and No. 107 Sam Houston. The Flames are ahead of No. 140 Western Kentucky, No. 143 New Mexico State, No. 158 FIU, No. 198 Kennesaw State, No. 200 Missouri State, No. 240 Jacksonville State, No. 252 Louisiana Tech, No. 282 Delaware, and No. 296 UTEP.
