Liberty got one of its biggest upsets in recent history this past weekend, knocking off Dayton despite being an 11-point road dog to conclude non-conference play at 8-3 prior to league play beginning this Sunday. The Flames are currently at No. 111 in the updated NET rankings, a nice jump up from last week’s ranking of No. 144.
Michigan is currently ranked No. 1 in the NET, followed by Arizona, Duke, Iowa State, Gonzaga, Vanderbilt, Purdue, UConn, BYU, and Illinois to round out the top 10. You can see the entire rankings here.
The Flames are now the third highest ranked team in CUSA in the NET, trailing No. 84 Sam Houston and No. 110 New Mexico State. The Flames are ahead of No. 123 Western Kentucky, No. 135 Middle Tennessee, No. 171 Kennesaw State, No. 173 FIU, No. 244 Louisiana Tech, No. 252 UTEP, No. 277 Missouri State, No. 278 Delaware, and No. 288 Jacksonville State.
