Benedetto comes to Liberty after spending his freshman year at Campbell. Benedetto did not play in his only season at Campbell. Cory is 6’1″ 210 lbs and is originally from Rochester, New York where he attended the Aquinas Institute.
The Flames have virtually used Campbell as its farm team this offseason sending Special Teams Coordinator Mike Minter to Campbell to become head coach, and backup quarterback Brian Hudson has also transferred to Campbell
Campbell competes in the non-scholarship FCS Pioneer Football League.
