The Liberty Flames’ men’s basketball team did not get to compete in the NCAA Tournament, but the Flames ended the season the same place it started – in the “others receiving votes” category in both major Top 25 polls.

Following a 30-4 record, ASUN regular season title, and ASUN tournament championship, Liberty received 8 votes in the final Coaches Top 25 poll and 1 vote in the final AP Top 25 poll. In the Coaches’ Poll, the Flames are effectively ranked 32nd in the country.

Liberty began the season in the others receiving votes category and spent much of the season there as well after jumping out to 14-0 and 19-1 records. Liberty clinched its 2nd consecutive and 5th all-time NCAA Tournament appearance with a win over Lipscomb in the ASUN Championship game.
