The NCAA released its first NET rankings of the 2023-24 season on Monday, December 4th. Liberty came in at No. 43 in the first rankings, best in Conference USA.

Liberty is currently 6-2 on the season and are coming off two straight losses in Boca Raton, Florida against FAU and Charleston. The Flames return to action on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. against Mississippi Valley State at Liberty Arena.

The Flames’ non-conference opponents include No. 11 Florida Atlantic,  No. 88 Wichita State, No. 110 Charlotte, No. 115 Vermont, No. 132 Charleston, No. 160 Furman, and No. 336 UMES.

Liberty’s remaining non-conference Division I opponents are currently ranked No. 12 (Alabama), No. 58 (Grand Canyon), No. 166 (Utah Valley), No. 219 (Tennessee State), and No. 361 Mississippi Valley State.
