The NCAA released its first NET rankings of the 2025-26 season on Monday. Liberty came in at No. 125 in the first rankings, fifth best in Conference USA.

Liberty is currently 5-2 on the season and are coming off two straight losses down in Florida to Towson and Bradley in the ESPN Events Invitational. The Flames return to action on Saturday against Coppin State at Liberty Arena.
The Flames’ non-conference opponents in the initial NET rankings include No. 113 Towson, No. 120 Florida Atlantic, No. 135 Bradley, No. 140 Vermont, and No. 229. Charleston. Liberty’s remaining non-conference Division I opponents are currently ranked No. 40 NC State, No. 88 Dayton, and No. 360 Coppin State.
