Liberty and Bellarmine will meet on Saturday in Louisville, Kentucky with the regular season title on the line in a game that will be televised on ESPNU at noon. The game will be played on Bellarmine’s home floor at Freedom Hall.

The Knights are currently 10-2 in ASUN play while the Flames are 9-2 prior to Liberty’s game Tuesday at noon against North Alabama. The Flames defeated UNA on Monday, 74-54, in the first of the two game series between Liberty and the Lions.

The Flames and Knights were originally scheduled to play a two-game series Feb. 26 and 27 in Lynchburg at Liberty Arena. Recently, the games switched venues from Lynchburg to Louisville. Monday night, both teams announced it will be just one game played to decide the regular season champion and the 1-seed for next week’s ASUN Tournament.

Bellarmine’s men’s basketball team paused all competitive activity due to inconclusive testing results on Thursday. Their games this past weekend at North Florida were canceled.

Liberty, the two-time defending ASUN champs, are currently 18-5 overall this season and currently riding a 7-game winning streak.. Bellarmine, in its first year as a Division I member, was picked to finish last in the ASUN preseason media poll. The Knights are 13-5 overall and currently on a 10-game winning streak.
