Liberty has announced the addition of transfer Tanner Hartman. Hartman comes to Liberty after spending the 2013 season at Penn State where he redshirted. The 6’6″, 290 pound offensive lineman will be eligible immediately and will have 4 years of eligibility remaining.

Hartman played his high school football at LCA in Lynchburg prior to signing with Penn State. He was a 2-star rated prospect coming out of high school according to Rivals, and had offers from Liberty, Maryland, Richmond, and Temple in addition to Penn State.

He announced in February he was intending to transfer soon after Penn State hired James Franklin to take over for Bill O’Brien.
