Liberty picked up a commitment from Solomon McGinty last week. He’s a JUCO defensive back from Tyler, Texas who spent the past 3 seasons at Tyler Junior College. McGinty suffered a leg injury during the 2013 season and received a medical redshirt. McGinty was named 2nd-team all conference at defensive back following this past season. He attended Navasoto High School in Navasoto, Texas. McGinty also played wide receiver in high school. He has 2 seasons of eligibility remaining. McGinty is the 14th commitment in the Class of 2016 for the Flames.
