The Liberty Flames head to the Nation’s Capital this weekend looking to remain unbeaten and to win its second tournament of the young season as the Flames also won the Islands of the Bahamas Showcase.

Liberty will take on Towson at 5 p.m. on Friday evening from inside the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, D.C. The Entertainment and Sports Arena is a 118,000-square-foot multi-purpose events facility, located on the St. Elizabeths East Campus, in Congress Heights, a residential neighborhood in southeast Washington, D.C. The arena is home to the Washington Mystics of the WNBA and the Capital City Go-Go of the NBA G League and has a basketball capacity of 4,111.

Akron and Tulane are also taking place in the two-game tournament as the winners will advance to Saturday’s championship game at 3:30 p.m. with the losers meeting int he 3rd place game at 1 p.m. The entire tournament will be carried live on FloHoops, a subscription based service which Liberty fans have come to know all too well over the past couple of months.
