Daijahn Anthony is a defensive back that put his name into the transfer portal this past fall and it appears he is heading to Liberty University to play football. It is unknown at the time this article is being written if he would be on scholarship or a joining the program in preferred walk-on opportunity. Anthony has not publicly stated he will be attending Liberty but has made a couple cryptic tweets.

The tweet above by Anthony was in response to a question made by a notable Liberty superfan, Jeremiah Flinchum. He told Flinchum that he will see him around starting Jan. 14. That is around the time many players that are new to the program will be coming to Liberty’s campus.

Anthony also recently tweeted out that he is a Division 1 athlete. His previous school, Shepherd University, was a division-2 program. Anthony did not play this past fall as Shepherd University did not have a season, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The 6’0″, 183 pound Anthony is from Richmond, Virginia where he graduated from Hermitage High School in 2018. In 2019 at Shepherd, Anthony appeared in 10 games while making five starts as a true freshman. He made 14 tackles with 2 interceptions.
