NOTE: This is only High school and JUCO signees. We cannot wait to see who this staff is cooking up in the Portal class that will be immediate impact Flames.

This is the best signing class in school history, no matter how you slice it.

Look at recruiting service rankings, or read Jon’s analysis in other articles on aseaofred.com, but for the last few years we have noticed a trend upward in “other offers”. This year’s class that signed with the Flames has some really impressive “other offers”. Lets look at some stats. This does not include transfer portal guys that have verbally committed to the Flames either publicly or privately.

9 commits had offers from Georgia State, making it the most recruited against in this class. The Sunbelt program is on the rise, and is likely at the top of this list because a lot of these signees call the Peach State their home. Liberty was able to go into Georgia and sign these highly rated recruits to play their college ball in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

8 of the Flames’ signees had an offer from Charlotte. This AAC program is close in proximity, making it easy for these families to get to games in Virginia.

There were three schools that top out the list at 6 of the signees having an offer from each of these: UAB, Troy and Western Kentucky. The Flames were again able to out recruit the Sunbelt and fellow CUSA member to bring in some top talent at positions of need.

Looking at Power 5 offers, 6 Flames’ signees had P5 offers.

Included in the list of P5s that had offered a now Flame are West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Miami, Mississippi State, and Georgia Tech.

Several commits were quoted in the signing day blog saying Liberty was essentially a P5. With the facilities, coaching staff, and everything they offer for student athletes, it is at a Power 5 Level. Jayden Bradford was listed as having 11 Power 5 offers (although the number was probably more), most notably South Carolina in his home state in the SEC.

A few other stats to look at are against each conference. 17 of the 18 signees had an offer from the Sunbelt. 13 of the Signees had offers from the AAC. 11 of these new Flames had offers from CUSA schools.

These are AMAZING stats for any recruiting class at LU, and are by far the best other offers we have ever seen by an incoming class. Great job to the recruiting staff. FLAMES!
