Allen is academically ineligible for the 2014-15 season
Incoming freshman signee Stavian Allen is academically ineligible for the 2014-15 season, according to sources. He plans to enroll at a Junior College, and could return to Liberty for the 2015-16 season provided he qualifies.
Update: Allen has signed with Tallahassee Community College.
Braxton Bonds, another incoming freshman, was on campus in Lynchburg for a week in early to mid June. He attended classes and worked out with some of the other Liberty players. According to a source, Bonds left Liberty, and returned home to Tennessee after communicating his dissatisfaction with Liberty. One source states Bonds does not intend to return to LU. There has apparently been no direct communication from Braxton to Liberty since he was last on campus. Classes don’t begin until August 18th, so there’s still plenty of time for Braxton to be on campus this Fall and with the basketball team when practice begins.
