Liberty has added a commitment from three-star wide receiver Jordan Christie. He announced his commitment on Thursday, June 18.

Christie is a 5’11”, 190-pound athlete from Southwest DeKalb High School and Ellenwood, Georgia. He has nearly 30 offers including numerous from the Power Four level. This offer list includes UCF, Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas State, Louisville, Mississippi State, Tennessee. Utah, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Other offers include East Carolina, Georgia State, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, FAU, Jacksonville State, and Middle Tennessee.

He is rated as a three-star prospect by 247, ESPN, and Rivals. Rivals has him rated as the No. 496 prospect nationally, No. 69 at wide receiver, and No. 58 in Georgia.

According to the 247Sports Composite rating, Christie is a 0.8856 overall rating, checking in at the No. 504 national prospect, No. 68 wide receiver, and No. 59 prospect in Georgia. He also checks in as the 2nd highest rated recruit of all time for Liberty, only trailing current running back and rising sophomore Jaylon Coleman.

One of the best wide receivers from the Peach State, Christie had named a Top 4 this past March of Georgia Tech, Georgia, Arkansas, and Florida State. He was previously committed to the Yellow Jackets before they had a significant change in offensive coaching staff, but Georgia Tech re-positioned itself in his recruitment and got back into his top 4 this past spring. He committed to Georgia Tech in June 2025 before decommitting in December shortly after several Georgia Tech offensive coaches departed for Florida and other destinations. He was scheduled for an official visit at Georgia Tech earlier this month.

As a junior this past season, Christie had 53 catches for 911 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Christie is the third wide receiver commitment in the Class of 2027 for Liberty, joining Chris Butler and Dominick Harvey.
