Liberty has added a commitment from in-state offensive lineman Tajh Boyd. He made the announcement, which was live streamed on his Instagram account, at a live, in-person cerimony in Norfolk, Virginia.

Boyd is a 6’5″, 320 pound offensive tackle from Chesapeake, Virginia and Oscar Smith High School. He is rated a three-star prospect by Rivals and On3 Sports, and his offer list includes Liberty, Buffalo, Bowling Green, Jackson State, Maryland, and Pitt. He had named a top four of Liberty, Maryland, Pitt, and Buffalo.

Boyd is the second offensive lineman commit in the class for the Flames, joining Cal Grubbs. He joins a Class of 2023 that includes quarterback Hank Brown, wide receivers Quentin Thomas and Jeremiah Shack, and linebacker Olan Robinson.
