Liberty has picked up a commitment from Roman Jennings, a 6’3″, 235 pound linebacker prospect from the Class of 2027. The Flames beat out the likes of Wake Forest and Memphis for the talented linebacker.
Jennings is a three-star prospect from Brentwood Academy and Brentwood, Tennessee. His offer list includes Wake Forest, Memphis, Army, Southern Miss, Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, Jacksonville State, Middle Tennessee, UAB, Western Kentucky, Miami Ohio, and others. He also has an official visit scheduled for Wake Forest on June 12. Jennings also has several Ivy League offers.
247Sports rates Jennings as a three-star prospect and the No. 72 prospect in the country and No. 33 prospect in the state of Tennessee. As a junior, Jennings was named all-region, all-615, all-mid-state, and all-state. New Liberty defensive coordinator Shawn Quinn paid a visit to Jennings in his home in Tennessee in May.
Jennings commitment comes on the heels of his official visit to Liberty and Lynchburg this past weekend. He is currently the 12th commitment for Liberty in the Class of 2027 and the second at linebacker, joining Levi Champion.
