The Liberty Flames baseball team has advanced to the 2025 CUSA Baseball Championship following the conclusion of the regular season. The CUSA Tournament will begin with four games on Wednesday, May 21. All games will be played at Liberty Baseball Stadium in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Liberty, the #8-seed, opens tournament play in the nightcap Wednesday, facing #1-seed Dallas Baptist with first pitch scheduled for approximately 4 p.m. The Flames and Patriots just met this weekend in Lynchburg, with DBU winning the series with two wins. Liberty finished the regular season with a 30-25 overall record and 10-17 mark in conference play.

The tournament features the top eight teams in the regular season play. The format is two double elimination brackets, with four teams each, with the winners of each bracket meeting in a single elimination championship contest.
In addition to Dallas Baptist, Liberty’s bracket also features #4-seed Jax State and #5-seed Louisiana Tech. The other bracket features #2-seed Western Kentucky, #3-seed Kennesaw State, #6-seed New Mexico State, and #7-seed FIU.
