An update on the highly anticipated 2014 recruiting class as their senior seasons near the finish line.
Stavian Allen, Forward
Next in the line of human highlight reel, Stavian Allen averaged 15 points and 8 boards per game. Allen faced some tough competition during the season against the likes of Kentucky signee Karl Towns and Oak Hill Academy.
Braxton Bonds, Point Guard
Bonds has successfully guided his team to a 33-2 record and into the state tournament where Christ Presbyterian Academy seeks their 3rd consecutive state title. Braxton is averaging 15.1 points per game on a team with at least 3 Division I athletes. CPA will play Upperman at 4:30 on Thursday in the 1st round of the State Tournament.
Evan Maxwell, Center
Maxwell is scoring 11.7 points per game for 26-1 Abington Heights High School in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. He led his team in scoring with 20 points in their 70-42 win Friday night.
A.C. Reid, Guard/Forward
Reid averaged 15 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2 steals for his team that went 17-16 on the season. He shot 37% from the field, 30% from 3, 80% from the charity stripe and 47% on his 2-point field goal attempts.
Ezra Talbert, Forward
The former Creighton commit, is averaging 15.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game for Olathe East who is 18-4 on the season. Talbert has scored in double figures in every game this season with the exception of 1 game when he scored 9. He is shooting 54% from the field, 38% from 3-point range, 85% from the free throw line, and 64% on his 2-point field goal attempts.
