SBNation’s Ridiculous Upside has highlighted Liberty’s Caleb Homesley as one of 20 mid-major prospects that could get a two-way contract this coming offseason.

“Despite the questions that I may have for him,” Ridiculous Upside writes, “Homesley still stands as a solid prospect that you could possibly see in the G League next year through his energy on defense, solid runner and work as an off-ball cutter, and being a solid facilitator that can use his 6’6 frame to look over the court and find teammates.”

Homesley ended his career ranked No. 10 on Liberty’s all-time scoring list with 1,539 career points and No. 8 on the school’s all-time rebounding list with 703 rebounds. This past season, he averaged 15.3 points per game and was second on the team with 5.7 rebounds per game while helping guide Liberty to the program’s most successful season with a program record 30 wins and second consecutive ASUN regular season and tournament title.

Homesley is trying to become the third consecutive ASUN Player of the Year to reach the NBA, joining FGCU’s Brandon Goodwin and Lipscomb’s Garrison Mathews. Goodwin has played 34 games in the league, most recently with the Atlanta Hawks while Mathews has played in 18 games for the Washington Wizards.
