…Bucky Hodges.

Virginia Tech’s redshirt-junior tight end will be more than a handful for the Flames’ defense. The 6’7”, 245 pound, Virginia Beach native has high hopes for the 2016 seasons. He’s been named to the John Mackey Award watch list, an award which is given annually to the nation’s top tight end. Hodges flirted with the idea of entering the NFL Draft this past year, and Mel Kiper even rated him as the #3 tight end if he entered the draft. Ultimately, he decided to return to Tech.

Hodges was named 2nd team All-ACC following the 2015 season where he had 530 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns. He also added a rushing touchdown. CBS Sports says he’s a possible first round selection in next year’s NFL Draft.
