Chris Mayo wears #32 for Liberty as we are just about a month away from kickoff against Kent State! Mayo is a 5’11” 200 pound senior from Neptune, New Jersey where he attended St. John Vianney High School. Mayo has played in 32 games in his Liberty career including 10 starts at safety. This offseason he has been moved to linebacker where he is fighting for the starting spot at the SAM spot. In his first 3 seasons, Mayo has consistently been one of the leading tacklers on the team as he has excelled at stopping the run from the safety spot. Expect even more of the same from him at linebacker this Fall.
