Josh Woodrum suffered from an infection in his leg after being cut in the Monmouth game last week. He is expected to be available for Coastal Carolina.

As reported yesterday by varying outlets, Liberty QB Josh Woodrum is expected to start this Saturday against Coastal Carolina.  Woodrum missed Saturday’s game against Charleston Southern, a 38-36 loss at home.  How soon Josh returns to practice is unknown at this time, but we expect him to return as soon as Monday.

Woodrum suffered a cut to his leg during the Monmouth game.  Over the course of the week that cut became infected, and had to be drained multiple times, according to several sources close to the team.  The day to day nature of such an injury is a legitimate reason for Gill’s inconsistent descriptions of Woodrum’s availability for CSU.  As always, we will have a close eye on things this week, so be sure to keep an eye on LibertyFlamesNation.com for the latest developments in this story.
