Liberty University has announced renovation plans to the Williams Stadium Carter Tower, the first set of major renovations since the Tower opened in 2010.

Two new suites will be added to the 5th floor while existing suites on the 4th floor will receive makeovers. The Tower currently holds 18 individual suites on the 4th floor as well as the 71 Club and Presidential and Athletic Director suites on the 5th floor.

The renovations of the current suites on the 4th floor will include enclosing the seating area. Additionally, four suites are planned to be added to the third floor Club Pavilion area prior to the 2021 season.

The third floor of the Tower will also add new Luxury Indoor Club Seats, a 44-seat area which will overlook Williams Stadium field and offers Flames Club members a reserved executive seat, counter space, and a shared TV tablet inside the Club Pavilion.

The 2nd floor of the Tower will be updated for the 2020 season to include the new Ledge Pregame Hospitality area. This pregame area will be open to up to 100 Flames Club Members with a premium buffet prior to the game up until kickoff.

This continues the new look of Williams Stadium that began a decade ago with the addition of the 5-story Carter Tower and a 2nd deck on that side of the stadium. Liberty has also added a 2nd deck to the student side of the stadium as well as enclosing one end of the stadium with a brand new berm. Just this spring, the Liberty Football Center was opened after an extensive expansion and renovation.
