Friday was full of activities in Mobile, Alabama as fans from both Liberty and Eastern Michigan have made their way down towards the Gulf of Mexico.

The day began Friday morning on the campus of the University of South Alabama for the Lending Tree Bowl press conference. Mobile’s mayor opened the press conference, followed by Eastern Michigan’s athletic director and head coach and then Liberty athletic director Ian McCaw and head coach Hugh Freeze.

The press conference was held at Hancock Whitney Stadium where the 2021 Lending Tree Bowl will be played. After the press conference, the ASOR crew took a brief tour of the stadium which opened in September 2020 with a capacity of 25,240.

Friday evening the festivities moved to downtown Mobile where both teams and most of the fans are staying for the weekend. The night activities began with a Mardi Gras parade followed by a pep rally and street party.

The ASOR crew was along for all the activities. Check out our below videos and photos.
