Game times and TV coverage for Liberty’s 2019 home schedule was released on Thursday. The Flames’ season opener on August 31st against Syracuse will have a kickoff of 6 p.m. and be carried on ESPN+.

All six of Liberty’s home games will be carried on ESPN+. In addition to the Syracuse game, matchups against Buffalo (9/14), Hampton (9/21), New Mexico (9/28), and Maine (10/19) have been scheduled for 6 p.m. kickoffs. Liberty’s regular season finale on November 30th against New Mexico State will begin at 2 p.m.

Additionally, ESPN also announced Liberty’s game at Louisiana on September 7th will air on ESPN+ and kickoff at 7:30 p.m. eastern. The BYU matchup on November 9th will air on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU and a kickoff time will be announced 12 days prior to game day.

Liberty’s home opener against the Orange is the first ever contest at Williams Stadium against a Power 5 opponent and there had been discussions about possibly moving the game to either Thursday or Friday night of that Labor Day weekend.

The 11th Liberty Hall of Fame class will be honored during the September 14th Buffalo game. Family Weekend will be on September 28th, while this year’s Homecoming Game will be played on October 19th. Staff and Military Appreciation Day will take place during the regular season finale.
