Welcome to the Rankings Roundup, where we keep you updated on where Liberty stands in all of the national rankings/standings. Liberty is currently coming off a two-game split with Stetson, which brings them to a 12-5 overall record and a 4-2 mark in the ASUN. 

NET Rankings: #75

Liberty is ranked 75th in this week’s edition of the NET Rankings. The loss last Friday to Stetson is the cause for the drop (previously 67th). The Flames are 0-2 against Quad 1 opponents, 2-0 versus Quad 2 opponents, 2-3 against Quad 3 opponents, and have an undefeated 5-0 record against Quad 4 opponents. The Flames are still the highest-ranked ASUN team by a wide margin, as Bellarmine is the next closest at #224. 

College Insider Mid-Major Top 25: #9

The Flames fell two spots to #9 in this week’s Mid-Major Top 25 Poll. The Flames have been ranked in the top 15 of the poll every week except one this season. 

KenPom: #102

Liberty is #102 in the KenPom ratings, once again, the highest-rated team from the ASUN. Lipscomb is the second-highest ASUN team at #213. 

Bracket Matrix:

Liberty has made an appearance in 51 bracket projections, which is an increase of 8 from last week.  The Flames boast an average seed of 13.67. The highest seed the Flames received is 11 and the lowest is 15. Lipscomb, North Alabama, and Jacksonville were the other ASUN members that made appearances in bracket projections. Lipscomb had the second-highest number of appearances with 4 and an average seed of 15.75.

Liberty is ranked 89th on the College Basketball Power Index, a 7-spot drop from the previous week. The Flames have the 228th best SOS (strength of schedule) and the 132nd best SOR (strength of record).
